The Central Weather Bureau stated that Taiwan will experience clear to partly cloudy skies with high temperatures over the next two days, particularly in central and southern regions where temperatures may exceed 37 degrees. Due to the westward extension of the Pacific high pressure system, Taiwan is expected to see significant warming, leading to extreme high temperatures this week with minimal rainfall. Various precautions and warnings were issued by weather experts and the meteorological bureau, advising against unnecessary outdoor activities and emphasizing hydration, shade, and cooling methods to prevent heat-related illnesses.
