A 12-year-old girl, known as Xiao Han, suffered from sudden screaming and full-body seizures while asleep for the past two years. After a long episode of convulsions, she was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called KCNH2 gene-related long QT syndrome-induced polymorphic ventricular tachycardia. This syndrome can lead to fainting spells or seizures, and Xiao Han experienced continuous episodes of polymorphic ventricular tachycardia during emergency treatment, requiring 22 defibrillations to stabilize her condition.
