Lufthansa's CEO, Carsten Spohr, has indicated that the airline expects a dip in demand for flights to the United States in the third quarter after a busy summer season. Despite a stronger first quarter compared to last year, Spohr noted a leveling-off trend. The airline, which operates 60 flights daily to the U.S., plans to counterbalance this decline by increasing seat marketing efforts for return flights from the U.S., where demand remains robust.
