Yum Brands announced that its finance chief, Chris Turner, will take over as CEO starting October 1, succeeding David Gibbs, who will retire in 2026 after nearly 37 years with the company. Turner, who has served as CFO since 2019, previously worked with PepsiCo and McKinsey & Co. Under Gibbs, Yum Brands saw significant growth in digital sales, with Taco Bell performing strongly in the competitive restaurant market.
