While Lucid's high-end models are priced out of reach for many buyers and the company's cash reserves are limited, Rivian's upcoming R2 model is projected to start production soon with a price point around $45,000. Despite Lucid's rapid growth, Rivian is positioned as the more promising stock for long-term investment.
