Today, there are high-temperature warnings, with only Hsinchu City in the western half avoiding it. The Central Weather Bureau issued high-temperature warnings again today, with most counties and cities in the western half included, except for Hsinchu City. The Bureau explains that a particular characteristic of Hsinchu City prevents high temperatures from gathering there. Various areas around Taiwan are experiencing extreme heat, with Taipei City and Taitung County being issued orange warnings, indicating a probability of reaching 38 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists point out that Hsinchu City, positioned near the sea with more sea breeze influence, does not experience temperatures as high as other areas. The public is advised to take precautions against heat-related illnesses and stay hydrated, especially considering the continuous hot weather forecast for the upcoming week.
