Alaska Airlines has announced a partnership with Accenture to audit its IT systems after a significant global outage linked to Microsoft's Azure platform disrupted services, leading to the cancellation of over 400 flights and impacting more than 49,000 passengers. The airline will provide an updated fourth-quarter forecast in December, once it fully assesses the financial repercussions of the disruptions.
