A terrifying shark attack incident occurred in Oklahoma, United States on June 27, 2024, where a 19-year-old college student, Damiana Humphrey, and her family were vacationing at a beach in Texas. After being bitten on the left hand by a bull shark while swimming, she bravely fought back by punching the shark in the face, successfully escaping its attack. However, the incident left her with four severed tendons in her hand, causing deep bite marks. Despite uncertainty about her hand's recovery, she remains optimistic and grateful for saving her other limbs and life.
