Two drug trafficking suspects in Taoyuan were flagged down by police for a right turn violation but refused inspection, ran a red light, and fled in the wrong direction onto National Freeway No. 2, being pursued for over 25 minutes. When the car crashed into a truck, police seized the chance to block their escape, but the suspects rammed into them from behind. Subsequently, the police broke the car window and apprehended the suspects, discovering drugs inside. The case was transferred to the prosecution. The suspects escalated their actions to avoid inspection, but were eventually caught, highlighting the importance of following traffic rules and cooperating with authorities.
