The 35th Golden Melody Awards in 2024 took place at Taipei Arena, with Hsu Chun winning Best Composer for 《Song of Everything》 and also Best Arranger. O-Kai Singers won Best Vocal Group after 11 years. GataBull won their first recognition at the Golden Melody Awards with 《Dark at Night Again》 as Song of the Year. Makav of Indigenous descent won Best New Artist. EggPlantBand won Best Band after 7 years. The event showcased various outstanding performances and award winners in different music categories among a lineup of top artists like 9m88, A-Lin, and more.
