The Executive Yuan Personnel Administration Department announced the 2025 government administrative calendar, with a total of 115 holidays scheduled. The good news is there are 6 periods of 3 or more consecutive holidays (including regular off days), including the Lunar New Year holiday (9 days), Peace Memorial Day (3 days), Children's Day and Tomb-Sweeping Day (4 days), Dragon Boat Festival (3 days), Mid-Autumn Festival (3 days), and National Day (3 days). Various adjustment methods for working days before holidays were also detailed in the announcement. The calendar is applicable only to government employees, with guidelines for public sector and military holidays as well.
