In the early hours of June 8 in Taipei's Songshan District, a 23-year-old man surnamed Zhang lost control of his car and crashed into a row of shops alongside the road. The impact affected at least 7 residential units, causing residents to be startled awake in the middle of the night and resulting in water and power outages. Fortunately, Zhang was not injured, and the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. Police have confirmed that Zhang was not under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
