A 35-year-old woman was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer after experiencing chronic constipation and bloody stools, noticing her weight dropping suddenly. Colon cancer is closely related to lifestyle habits such as sedentary behavior, consuming grilled or red meat, and obesity among other factors. Early symptoms of colon cancer include persistent abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, thin stools, rectal bleeding, unexplained weight loss, constant fatigue, and feeling of incomplete bowel movement. The Taiwan Health Promotion Administration offers free colon cancer screening for individuals aged 50-74 every two years to reduce the incidence and mortality rates of colon cancer.
