The 35th Golden Melody Awards ceremony took place at Taipei Arena on the evening of June 29th. Hot Dog was awarded Best Male Singer and Sun Shengxi won Best Female Singer. Cao Dong's 'R.U.O.K.' album took home the Album of the Year award. Various other awards were also presented during the event, including Best Band and Best New Artist.
