During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in Taipei, a bloody conflict occurred in the Da'an District. A 32-year-old man named Chen chatting with a friend on the roadside was unexpectedly provoked by a group of strangers, including a 30-year-old man who attacked Chen with a 40cm knife, injuring his head and ear. The police arrived at the scene and arrested the perpetrators, who were charged with attempted murder, intimidation, and assault. The incident stemmed from a verbal dispute after a night of drinking, leading to a violent altercation involving multiple weapons.
