In Changhua County on June 19, 2024, a 40-year-old man was found dead in his home in January, but his palms were mysteriously missing, leading to a closure of the case by the authorities due to 'cause of death unknown'. However, the family refused to sign the death certificate and requested a reinvestigation. The forensic expert suggested that the palms likely fell off after death and moving the body, as natural decomposition wouldn't cause them to disappear instantly, needing around 30 years. There were peculiarities in the body condition, with the feet also showing unusual signs, sparking neighbors' curiosity and rumors.
