In Taichung, a 5-year-old boy named Sun took a sick day at home on the 5th due to a cold and managed to slip out of the house to find his mother when his grandfather wasn't paying attention. He was found standing at an intersection in Taichung and was luckily brought back home safely by kind-hearted citizens who alerted the authorities. The boy was reunited with his mother, ending the ordeal. Police reminded parents to teach their children how to protect themselves and keep track of their whereabouts at all times.
