56% of Americans Support Increased US Military Actions around Taiwan

In response to Chinese President Xi Jinping's claim that the US was trying to instigate him to attack Taiwan, the White House and State Department refuted these statements as false. According to a recent poll by the Reagan Foundation, nearly 60% of Americans support increasing military actions around Taiwan, while 56% support increasing arms sales to Taiwan. Concerns over China's military expansion have led to a majority of Americans feeling worried. The poll also showed that 73% believe a potential cross-strait conflict is crucial to US security and prosperity, with 58% supporting increased US military presence near Taiwan to prevent a Chinese invasion and 56% supporting increased arms sales to Taiwan.
