Autism, a cognitive development disorder, is increasingly discussed nowadays, such as in the popular Korean drama 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' where the main character is autistic. Clinical psychologist Huang Hong-Xin mentioned the 6 major symptoms of autism, including self-centeredness, stubbornness, difficulty understanding social cues, heightened emotional fluctuations, repetitive behavior, and narrow interests. Huang emphasized that not all individuals exhibiting these symptoms have autism and a professional diagnosis is needed for confirmation. While these behaviors can pose challenges, Huang noted that stubbornness, for instance, may lead to strong convictions, which could be beneficial if channeled correctly.
