In the ongoing Baolin Tea House food poisoning case for nearly 3 months, a 46-year-old female patient who had received a liver transplant passed away at Wan Fang Hospital, becoming the 6th fatality in the case. Despite being initially moved to a general ward on June 5, she deteriorated and was transferred back to the ICU for treatment, where she eventually succumbed to the illness. Out of 7 critical cases in the Baolin incident, 6 have tragically died, with only 1 being discharged. The patient's condition worsened with coughing blood, leading to emergency lung resection and ECMO installation before her passing.
