According to Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation, the latest national political survey shows that 37.4% support the Democratic Progressive Party, 17.8% support the Kuomintang, and 14.3% support the Taiwan People's Party, with a significant increase of 7.7% in neutral voters. The survey also reveals shifts in party support compared to the previous month, with the DPP maintaining its support, while the KMT and TPP face declines. The overall party competition landscape has seen significant changes post the 2024 elections, with the DPP gaining 6.9 percentage points, while the KMT and TPP both experiencing a decrease in social support. Additionally, the survey shows that the DPP's support is now higher than the support for the KMT and TPP combined, possibly influenced by recent cross-strait tensions, President Lai Ching-te's inauguration and Huang Jen-hsun's rise, indicating a noteworthy trend to watch.
