Reported 8 months ago

On June 20th, influenced by the Pacific High Pressure, Taiwan's weather will be mainly cloudy to fair, with a possibility of isolated brief thunderstorms in the afternoon in the central and northern areas, eastern regions, and southern mountainous areas due to the heat. The Central Weather Bureau forecasts temperatures ranging from 32 to 35 degrees Celsius and possibly exceeding 36 degrees in central and southern regions and the Hualien area. High temperature alerts have been issued for 7 counties and cities, with orange high-temperature warnings for Changhua County, Yunlin County, Tainan City, Pingtung County, and yellow warnings for Kaohsiung City, Hualien County, and Taitung County. People are reminded to protect themselves from the heat and stay hydrated. The hot weather is expected to continue with temperatures possibly reaching 36 degrees until Sunday. Increased chances of showers are forecasted for parts of Taiwan next week due to the indirect impact of a low-pressure system in the South China Sea.
