A 70-year-old chairman, suffering from debilitating leg pain due to spinal stenosis caused by bone spurs, underwent a less invasive spinal endoscopic surgery at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. This procedure, which resulted in a less than one-centimeter incision, successfully alleviated his symptoms, allowing him to regain normal walking abilities and return home the next day. With the rising number of bone spur patients in Taiwan, this innovative surgery presents a promising alternative to traditional methods, minimizing recovery time and enhancing quality of life.
