A survey by Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare showed that 77% of people in Taiwan are unaware of high cholesterol issues, along with not being fully aware of their high blood pressure and high blood sugar levels. This lack of awareness may lead to the accumulation of diseases and pose irreversible risks. To address this, the Ministry encourages individuals to register their adult regular health check data with the 'Chronic Disease Risk Assessment Platform' to estimate disease risk within the next 10 years, emphasizing prevention and early detection. With around 4 to 7 percent of the population unaware of their abnormal three-high values, utilizing regular health checks and monitoring through platforms can help in preventing chronic diseases.
