A civil lawsuit details how a Fresno police officer and his family were subjected to a month-long campaign of harassment and revenge by a man upset over receiving a jaywalking ticket. The man, John Christopher Spatafore, engaged in various forms of harassment, including attempting to hack the officer's email, making false police reports, and threatening to release compromising videos. Spatafore was eventually arrested and fired from his job at a hospital for using their equipment for his revenge plot. The criminal case against him was suspended to enroll him in a mental health diversion program.
