A Technology-Driven Exhibition in Nanjing Portrays Memories of 1949 Displacement

The 'Stories of My Two Shores - Nanjing Tour Exhibition,' organized by the Taiwan Shen Chun Chi Cultural and Educational Foundation, opened at the Nanjing Dabao'en Temple Site Museum in Jiangsu, China. Using immersive interactive technology, the exhibition tells the life stories of the millions of civilians and soldiers who crossed the sea to Taiwan around 1949, experiencing the journey of leaving home, settling down, and eventually returning. The exhibition was attended by around 300 guests, including notable figures like Shen Beili, Lou Wei, Qu Feng, Zhao Yi, Shen Qingjing, and Huang Zhi Xian, who highlighted the importance of preserving and sharing the history of the displacement period and promoting cross-strait cultural understanding.
