Fortunately, no injuries were reported after a cement mixer mistakenly drove into a restricted area in Xinzhuang District, Taipei. The vehicle hooked onto power lines and pulled down a traffic signal pole, leading to a traffic standstill at the intersection of Xinzhuang Road and Xinshu Road. The driver, a 67-year-old man surnamed Chen, was unfamiliar with the area and violated regulations by attempting to turn onto a prohibited route. Police have taken action against the driver for the violation, and the traffic situation has since been resolved with repairs carried out by relevant authorities including the city's public works department, cable companies, and Taiwan Power Company.
