Taipei City's Department of Health organized the 'Active Aging Competition' physical finals on June 21, marking the first in-person competition in four years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event aimed to encourage seniors to step out of their homes, engage in team activities with community partners, and promote social participation and physical activity to foster a healthy lifestyle. Through the competition, seniors displayed creativity, passion, and vitality, showcasing their active aging spirit. The competition saw 12 teams competing in various performances, demonstrating high levels of creativity and teamwork, with five teams selected to represent Taipei City in the upcoming regional competition.
