According to the report, the Taiwan version of an active ETF is set to be launched soon. The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) chairman, Huang Tzu-shan, mentioned that they are studying the opening of active ETFs and have collected data from various countries. In addition, it is reported that Bitcoin ETFs are also expected to be allowed for trading through securities firms, enabling domestic investors to invest in overseas virtual currency spot ETFs. Several measures are being discussed and planned, and Taiwan aims to introduce these products at the earliest by the end of the year or at the latest by early next year, helping to diversify the market and stimulate the industry's growth.
