Activists from various civic groups including the Taiwan Citizen Front and the Economic Democracy Union returned to the Legislative Yuan from June 19 to 21 to protest against the administration's parliamentary reform bill. Despite the scorching 32-degree heat, the Jilin Church near the demonstration site prepared around 5,000 bowls of 'democracy porridge' for the attendees. The activists aim to continue mobilizing public support, monitoring the legislative activities, and raising awareness about Taiwan's democratic values and the importance of preventing parliamentary abuse of power.
