Canadian actor Donald Sutherland, known for his role as President Snow in 'The Hunger Games' film series, passed away at the age of 88 in Miami due to a prolonged illness. Sutherland, who had a career spanning over half a century, won numerous awards, including Emmy and Golden Globe awards, and was honored with an honorary Oscar in 2017 for his contributions to the film industry. His son Kiefer Sutherland, also an actor, mourned his father's passing, saying he was one of the most important actors in film history who lived a fulfilling life doing what he loved.
