Actor Eric Tsang and his daughter Tsang Pao-Yee attended the farewell ceremony for Tsai Kuang-Kuan's mother, Tsai Lu-Yu, who passed away at the age of 93 due to pneumonia. Tsai Kuang-Kuan, Huang Yun-Ling, Yu Mei-Ren, director Chu Yen-Ping, Lee Lieh, Lam Hsin-Mei, Lin Mei-Hsiu, Chen Ya-Lan, Lu Hsiao-Fen, and Tsang Pao-Yee were among those present. Tsang Pao-Yee revealed Tsai Kuang-Kuan's caring nature towards the Tsang family, as Eric Tsang made a special trip to Taiwan to attend the ceremony, showing a longstanding friendship with Tsai Kuang-Kuan. Tsai Kuang-Kuan thanked her mother with a 4-minute speech and was accompanied by emotional music. Friends pledged to continue supporting Tsai Kuang-Kuan after the funeral procedures. Eric Tsang, in all black, simply advised Tsai Kuang-Kuan to take care of her health, while Tsang Pao-Yee expressed that Eric Tsang's visit to Taiwan was solely for attending the ceremony, planning to leave the next day.
