At 49, Taiwanese actress Tang Ling, known for her roles in TV dramas, underwent surgery to remove two-thirds of her stomach when diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer in 2019, and later had to have her uterus and ovaries removed due to cancer metastasis in 2022.
