On July 1, 2024, actress Wu Danru, who bought the Little Bear Bookstore in Yilan in 2010, contemplated closing the business during the pandemic, and has since handed over operations to her sister-in-law. The bookstore has transitioned to online food sales through partnerships with hotel chefs, with items like pasta selling well. Wu hopes to find a new owner for the 200-ping property as her daughter lacks interest, and due to her son-in-law's health, operations need to be put on hold temporarily. Wu is reluctant to see the area decline and wishes for a new owner to continue the flourishing business.
