Kaohsiung City Government announced the latest reshuffle of department heads, with 39-year-old Left Camp High School principal Wu Lisen taking over as the Director of the Education Bureau. The reshuffle aims to rejuvenate the government team, deepen the experience of senior officials, adjust the combat formation, and bring new energy and capabilities to the city government. Other changes include the Research, Development, and Evaluation Commission chairman transferring to an advisory role, the Labor Affairs Bureau director retiring and being succeeded by Jiang Jianxing, the Metro Bureau director resigning with Wu Jiachang as successor, and other appointments in various departments. The reshuffle will come into effect on June 24th.
