The Executive Yuan approved the 'Nursing Manpower Policy Enhancement 12-Strategies Plan' to be implemented from 2025 to 2028, focusing on promoting three shift nursing to bed ratio legislation among other strategies, with the aim of reducing the annual loss of 8,000 nursing staff to 4,000 and increasing nursing manpower by 56,000 to 70,000 by 2030. The plan includes measures such as nurse workforce cultivation, exam task enhancement, creating a friendly nursing workplace, and improving salary structures.
