On June 21, 2024, in Taiwan, the Legislative Yuan voted on the reconsideration of the Administrative Yuan's parliament reform, resulting in 62 votes to 51 votes to maintain the original resolution, rejecting the reconsideration. Huang Kuo-chang of the People's Party called for Administrative Yuan Premier Cho Jung-tai to publicly accept the decision in accordance with the constitution. This marks a significant moment in Taiwan's democratic history, completing the parliament reform that had been unresolved for 30 years.
