Premier Su Tseng-chang expressed optimism regarding the revision case during his policy question-and-answer session at the Legislative Yuan. The legislative revision of the Legislative Yuan's exercise of powers and certain articles of the Criminal Code recently passed its third reading, with the Executive Yuan submitting a reconsideration proposal, approved by President Lai Ching-te on the 11th. Premier Su noted the necessity of maintaining optimism to attend to other government matters effectively. He highlighted the responsibility of the Executive Yuan, as a constitutional institution, to protect the people's rights and vowed to exhaust all possibilities to safeguard constitutional institutions, the separation of powers, and people's rights if the revision outcome does not align with expectations.
