Adverts falsely claim diabetes 'cure' with fabricated news articles

Reported about 1 year ago

According to experts, there is currently no cure for diabetes despite advertisements in Myanmar falsely promoting a powdered milk product called 'Gludiabetic Plus' as a cure for the disease. The ads included fabricated features from CNN and The New York Times, deceiving viewers with claims that the product could eliminate diabetes in 15 days. In reality, the product has no proven benefits for diabetic patients, and health authorities emphasize the importance of managing the condition through proper care and lifestyle choices.
