Aeromexico has announced the temporary suspension of its Mexico City to Quito route from July 1 to Dec. 18, due to travel difficulties following the arrest of Ecuador's former Vice President Jorge Glas in April. The fallout over the incident has led to strained relations between Mexico and Ecuador, resulting in the halt of consular procedures and visa processing between the two countries.
