Mondelez has resumed producing Oreo cookies in Ukraine after repairing its plant in Trostyanets, which was heavily damaged during Russia's invasion two years ago. The company states that products from the Ukrainian factory are not being exported to Russia and are being sold domestically or exported to countries like Georgia and Kazakhstan. Mondelez aims to make its business in Russia self-sufficient by the end of 2023. Despite calls for boycotts, the company's rivals like Nestle continue to operate in Russia, with food not currently under international sanctions.
