During the hot summer in Taiwan, air conditioning becomes an essential tool for cooling down. However, even when the air conditioner is set at a low temperature like 16 degrees, it can still be difficult to feel cool. Recent discussions on 'Dcard' revealed that various factors could affect the cooling efficiency of an air conditioner, such as dirty filters, refrigerant leaks, or undersized units. Experts suggest cleaning the air conditioner regularly and ensuring proper ventilation to improve cooling effectiveness. Taiwan Power Company also recommends pre-cooling the room by opening windows before turning on the air conditioner to enhance cooling efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
