The Air Force Medical Evacuation Team celebrated its 70th anniversary at the Chiayi Air Force Base on June 29, inviting over 100 retired air and ground crew members for the occasion. The event included visits to various displays showcasing equipment such as EC225 Super Puma, UH-60M Black Hawk search and rescue helicopters, and new forest traversing equipment. The team has been involved in numerous rescue missions, including aiding in major disasters like floods, earthquakes, and maritime emergencies, and has received recognition for their social service efforts.
