Airbus has strengthened its lead in securing orders for next-generation freighter jets, with Korean Air converting an order for seven A350-1000 passenger jets to the A350 freighter variant, bringing Airbus's total to 78 A350F orders. In contrast, Boeing has received commitments for over 50 of its 777-8 freighters. The A350F is set for first delivery in late 2027, featuring advanced materials to reduce weight and improve fuel efficiency significantly.
