A tip circulating online claims that using incognito mode to search for flight tickets can lead to cheaper prices, as airlines might raise prices if they know you are repeatedly checking. However, an airline representative revealed that ticket prices fluctuate constantly, and even if several people search around the same time, the final prices may vary. The representative emphasized that ticket prices are not manually set in the backend, and economic class tickets may have different price tiers which can change rapidly. So, the suggestion of using incognito mode to find cheaper tickets may not necessarily guarantee lower prices.
