Airlines, hotels, and retailers are concerned about potentially being left out in Google's upcoming search changes to comply with EU tech rules, as lobby groups representing them have urged regulators to consider their views and not just those of large intermediaries. The EU's Digital Markets Act aims to give users more choice and competitors a fair chance, but these groups fear the adjustments could negatively impact their revenues by favoring powerful online intermediaries. Google, currently under investigation for possible breaches of the DMA, has not yet commented on the issue.
