Alaska Airlines has returned the 737 MAX 9 aircraft involved in a mid-air door panel blowout incident to Boeing after taking possession of it and changing the registration. The airline has also placed an order for a new Boeing 737-10. This action comes after U.S. investigators sanctioned Boeing for disclosing probe details and announced a three-month delay in a key production milestone for the 737 jet family.
