According to Central Weather Bureau, a special report for heavy rain has been issued for 12 counties and cities, warning of brief but intense downpours due to vigorous convection cloud development in the afternoon. New Hsinchu County and Nantou County may experience localized heavy or torrential rains, while other areas, including northern Taichung, Nantou, Yilan, Yunlin, Chiayi, and Hualien, have chances of heavy rain. Additionally, a specific thunderstorm warning has been issued for Nantou County until 17:00, cautioning against heavy rain, thunder, strong gusts, flash floods, landslides, and low visibility. Residents are advised to be vigilant.
