Due to the southwest wind effect, the weather is hot with temperatures reaching record highs, leading to a yellow alert for high temperatures issued by the Central Weather Bureau at 2:26 p.m. on June 11. Areas in Taipei City and Taitung County are advised to be cautious. Cases of heat exhaustion have already been reported in Taitung County. Stay vigilant to prevent heatstroke.
