Alex Jones' personal bankruptcy has been converted to a formal liquidation by a trustee to determine payment for $1.5 billion in defamation judgments won by families of Sandy Hook shooting victims. The defamation debts cannot be discharged through bankruptcy due to intentional and malicious conduct. The judge rejected Jones' plan to keep his media company running and ruled for the liquidation of assets. Jones may potentially start a successor broadcast even if Infowars is liquidated.
